Remember when this girl made “Pursuit of Happiness” that much more amazing? Well, she’s at it again.
Can’t get enough of Luke Sital-Singh this evening.
Vance Joy is Melbourne native James Keogh. Keogh put out his first EP, “God Loves You When You’re Dancing” last year and “Riptide” became an instant hit on Australian radio reaching triple platinum. Vance Joy is currently signed to Atlantic Records under a five album contract.
Introducing Hozier. Hozier is musician Andrew Hozier-Byrne from County Wicklow, Ireland. Hozier studied at Trinity College Dublin before leaving to pursue his music career. His first EP, “Take Me To Church” came out last year and since then he has released his second EP, “From Eden”. Hozier was at SXSW last month and begins a brief US tour next month with almost all of his shows already sold out.
His music video for “Take Me to Church”, makes a powerful statement, referencing the violence and oppression within the LGBT community in Russia.
Introducing Blaenavon! This young trio (one of them is only 17) comes right out of Blaenvon (hence their name), a small town located in South Wales. These three released their first two singles this year, “Into the Night” and “Denim Patches” and just came out with a brand new EP titled “Koso”. These guys still seem to be somewhat under the radar with only about 450 followers on Spotify, but with listen to their music and you will agree with me when I say that this is going to change—fast!
